Typical

Last encounter in the adventure. The entirely predictable NPC betrayal takes place, and the stage is set for a few moments of high tension, since the group are all pretty beaten up, and what happens?

"I hit him for 106 points of damage."

Exit one NPC.

Damnit!

  1. Thing is that it was a critical hit with +10 Power Attack so it was more luck for us that Roger got the dice roll.

    I think the Liche shows that NPC wizards really need back-up forces to protect them from multiple opponents and due to the weakness of the creatures he summoned we still would've won the fight, it would've taken a little bit longer.
